Either the prison administration has been alerted about this risk, either there has been a malfunction in the system. “In any case, we didn’t get access to the procedure, despite our requests”, reports Attorney Juliette Chapelle, who represents Marie-Christine Le Nen-Luce and Claude Luce, Caroline’s mother and stepfather. Not getting any response to their answers, they challenged the administration before the administrative court, by considering that the administration has been negligent and failed to take any measures regarding the detainee at risk. “This negligence has deprived my clients from any chance of seeing the murderer being trialed and any chance of obtaining justice for their daughter”.
